Questions
How is this different from therapy? +
I'm not a licensed therapist. I'm a person who's good at listening. Therapy is for diagnosed conditions and clinical care; this is for the times you just need to talk something out without paying $150 an hour and committing to a treatment plan.
What kinds of things do people talk about? +
Work stress. Relationships. Caregiving for aging parents. Loss. Big life transitions. Or nothing in particular — sometimes you just need a real conversation with someone who isn't your spouse or coworker.
How private is this? +
What you say stays between us. I don't keep notes, don't record, and don't share. I'm not a mandated reporter the way a licensed clinician would be — but I'd encourage you to call 988 or 911 if you're in crisis. This service isn't built for emergencies.
What if I run over the time? +
If we're mid-conversation and you need a few extra minutes, I won't cut you off mid-sentence. If you regularly want longer sessions, the 60-minute option is the right one.
Can I cancel? +
Yes, anytime. Sessions are pay-as-you-go — no subscriptions, no auto-renew. If you book and need to reschedule, just let me know.
Do you keep records? +
No. I don't take notes during the call and I don't write anything down after.
What formats do you offer? +
Phone, video, or text — your choice on the booking form. In-person is possible if you're local; ask when you reach out.
How do I pay? +
I'll send a payment link before the session (Venmo, Zelle, or card). Free intro is just that — free, no card on file.
